A single flower can hold a world of color, shape, and detail! In this oil, painting class, will take a deeper look at individual blooms, exploring how petals grow and form, and how to translate that into paint.
Breaking down our process into a four week program, we start at the beginning with a simple pencil sketch, to find our values through under painting, and an intro to color mixing while exploring various oil painting techniques. You’ll leave this class with a beautiful floral painting of your own along with the knowledge and techniques to incorporate flowers into your future artworks.

Technique: Traditional oil painting techniques
Materials: A welcome email and supplies list will be sent after you sign up. ** Note that painters must use drop cloths over tabletops. Oil painters are specifically required to use Gamsol or oderless mineral spirits, and dispose of their oily rags in a flammable waist can.
